Why become a member?

The LMME is a member-funded organization. We exist solely for the benefit of our members, and the membership fees collected are used to carry out activities such as our speaker series and annual conference. 

 

Membership fees can be purchased as an individual or institutional member. 

​

Guest speakers are invited to each meeting to discuss topics such as programming concerns, school curriculum, reaching audiences, and other topics relevant to museum educators.

​

Topics are determined by the membership.

The membership fee covers honoraria for guest speakers and other expenses related to the annual conference.
 

Membership fees are for each January for the calendar year.
 

Fees are $40 for institutions and $20 for individuals. It is up to the individual to decide what category they are
